Chapter 6 Response

Based on chapter 6 I would defiantly want to teach in a classroom that has more digital technology. In today's society younger and younger kids are growing up with all kinds of high tech gadgets at their disposal. Chapter 6 talks about digital cameras, scanner, touch screens, and many more. I think I could use all kinds of technologies in the classroom to enhance the students learning process. These kids will enjoy learning more if it is on  the devices they use in there everyday life. If they could have all of their notes on a hand held device instead of pen a paper. They will be less likely to lose or misplace these notes on paper.

Chapter 11 Response

One traditional visual technology that could be used in the class room is the over head projector. It will help students with visual problems because they will be able to see the assignment enlarged. One emerging visual technology is the use of E-Books this allows students to access more than one book from one device. It also allows them to zoom on on certain texts to find the perfect reading size.
One traditional audio tech that could be used in the classroom is a tape recorder. This would allow students to take a lecture almost any where and go over it again and again. One emerging technology is Mp3 Player which allows the whole class to download the lecture and use it freely.
